Hannah (Dilatush) Layton

On this day, 17 June 1874, Hannah (Dilatush) Layton passed away. She was my 4th great-grandmother.

Born in 1810 on Monroe Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey, Hannah Dilatush was the daughter of Jacob Dilatush and Esther “Hester” Cox, who had married in 1807. Hannah was the second known child of the couple. Their first child, Henry Dilatush, was born in 1808 and died that same year.
